To implement the innovation-driven development strategy, accelerate the construction of a science and technology innovation center with global influence, and promote the construction of enterprise technology centers in Jing'an District, the Jing'an District Commerce Committee organized the application and evaluation work for the 2022 Jing'an District Enterprise Technology Center. Recently, the Shanghai Jing'an District Commerce Committee publicized the "List of Enterprises Recognized as District-level Enterprise Technology Centers in Jing'an District in 2022", and Shanghai UnionClin Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") was listed in the Jing'an District Enterprise Technology Center by its outstanding capabilities in the biopharmaceutical industry.
At present, new-generation information technologies such as the Internet of Things and big data are accelerating their integration with traditional industries and are gradually becoming essential means for industries to reduce costs and increase efficiency. Under an increasingly strict and detailed regulatory environment, sponsors have an increasingly urgent need for efficient clinical research. But on the other hand, the ultimate implementers of clinical research—the research centers—are facing issues such as a shortage of high-level investigators, annually increasing labor costs for clinical operations, and inefficiency caused by low levels of informatization, which greatly restrict the development of the clinical research service industry.
To this end, UnionClin has proposed solutions from two directions: Intelligent Clinical Research Management System and Embedded Clinical Research Site Services (SMO). Currently, UnionClin has built digital management systems for research wards in over 30 hospitals and formed deep collaborations, and has provided dedicated CRC teams for more than 20 research centers, starting from compliance and efficiency, assisting in the efficient conduct of clinical research.
